Cover Water Quickly with the MACH Bouncer Crankbait

As anglers see the warmest temps of the year, expect fish to move shallow in the early morning hours for a quick meal. This 3/8-ounce diving crankbait is ideal for the 3-6 foot range as you fish banks and shallow structure. Its bill is designed to help the bait deflect off rock and wood cover, often eliciting powerful reaction strikes. This is exactly how the Bouncer got its name; when it bounces off cover, that’s when you want to hold on!  With limited time to chase down the active morning bite, make short pitches at cover and move quickly down the bank.

The Bouncer will achieve a slightly greater depth by using lighter fluorocarbon line.

For fishing in shallower areas, slow the retrieve and hold the rod tip up to keep the bouncer higher in the water column.

Vary your retrieve speed. Slowly roll the Bouncer through the cover with a stop-and-go pattern, and burn it at “Mach speed” until it is clear what speed the fish prefer.
